ASEB to host national athletic meet

GUWAHATI, May 5 � Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB) will be hosting the 40th All India Electricity Sports Control Boards Athletic meet here from May 7 to 9.

The three-day championship will be held at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Regional Sub Centre Complex.

The organisers are expecting 20 teams in the meet, where around 180 athletes will be seen in action.

Addressing a press conference at the Bijuli Bhawan here today, ASEB organising committee president BK Duari revealed that some of the leading athletes of the country will take part in the meet.
