NAGAON, Dec 3 - ASEB Guwahati will play against Salbagan FC, Gossaingaon in the final of the Independence Day Cup football tournament.
In the semifinals played here today, ASEB edged past Oil India 2-1 while Salbagan got the better of Khidirpore SC, Kolkata 2-0. William Gente (Oil, 4th min) Biplab Kundu and Syed Ansar (ASEB, 70th and 87th min) were the scorers in the first match.
For Salbagan Monjit Rabha (73rd) and Lenin Angam (75th) netted one goal each.
The final will be played on December 5.
