GUWAHATI, March 31 - ASEB Sports Club set up summit clash with NF Railway Sports Club in the maiden edition of the Duliajan Club organised North East Invitational Football Championship.
In two closely played semifinals at Duliajan today, NF Railway SC defeated Shillong Lajong Football Academy 3-2 while ASEB SC edged past NISSA, Manipur 1-0.
For the NF Railway team, Kapil Daimary (19th minute), Jelendra Brahma (36th minute) and Sriram Basumatary (66th minute) netted one goal each while Saino Kuku (56th minute) was the lone scorer for the Shillong team. NF Railway conceded a self goal through Milan Basumatary.
Samujjal Rabha netted the lone goal for the ASEB team. The final will be played on April 2.
