CHAMATA, Aug 2 - With a 1-0 victory against FC Green Valley, ASEB Sports Club emerged champions in the Naroram Barman Football Tournament.
Before a capacity crowd, Jamla Brahma fired the match winner in the 17th minute of the match. Jamla also received the highest scorer of the tournament award while his team mate Rahul Das was adjudged as the best player of the championship.
In the closing function, former State Minister Chandramohan Patowary was the chief guest. Assam Football Association secretary Ankur Dutta and Nalbari district SP Bedanta Madhab Rajkhowa were present as guests.
