ASEB in Nororam football final

TIHU, Aug 24 - ASEB Sports Club of Guwahati ensured their place in the final of the 40th Nororam Barman Football Tournament defeating South Eastern Railways, Jharkhand 4-3 via tie-breaker.

The closely contested semifinal ended goalless in regulation time at the Chamata Anchalik Krira Sangha�s own stadium in Chamata today.

Suden Wary of ASEB was sent off by the referee in the 44th minute for misconduct.

Sanjay Boro, Sagar Limbo, Akran Narjary and Dauka Brahma scored for ASEB in tie-breaker while for the Jharkhand outfit S Lahar, S Kror and M Gopi found the back of the net.

The second semifinal will be played tomorrow at 3 pm between Md Sporting Club of Kolkata and Assam Police Blues.
