ITANAGAR, June 24 - A 43-year-old Delhi returnee became the first COVID-19 fatality in Arunachal Pradesh when she died while being transported to the TRIHMS COVID Hospital at Naharlagun today.
A resident of West Kameng, she was suffering from a chronic kidney disease.
She was cremated at Dirang by following the guidelines on dead body management, said State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa.
