ITANAGAR, Oct 5 - The COVID-19 case tally of Arunachal Pradesh has mounted to 10,548 as 126 more people tested positive for the virus on Sunday. On the other hand, 190 people recovered from the disease on the day, thereby pushing the number of recoveries to 7,577, according to a bulletin issued by the State Directorate of Health Services here. Of the fresh infections, Itanagar Capital Complex accounted for 48, followed by Changlang (15) and West Siang (10). Tawang, West Kameng and Lower Subansiri detected seven cases each, and Leparada six, as Upper Siang and Papumpare found five each. Tirap registered four cases, while East Siang and Lower Siang reported three each, Lohit and Kurung Kumey two each, and one each positive case was found in Longding and Lower Dibang Valley. Of the total infections, 111 cases were reported to be asymptomatic and 15 symptomatic. Of the recovered cases, Itanagar Capital Complex witnessed the most at 93 and Longding 26, as per the bulletin. Arunachal Pradesh has presently 2,953 active COVID-19 cases with 934 of them availing treatment at various Covid care facilities and a whopping 2,019 under home isolation. The State has already registered 18 COVID-19 related fatalities, the bulletin stated.
