Arunachal Speaker�s plea for unity

ITANAGAR, March 10 - Arunachal Speaker Wangki Lowang has said that he would try to follow in the hallowed footsteps of the first Arunachal Speaker late Nokmey Namati and work for the allround development of the State.

Lowang said this while interacting with the heads of departments, panchayat leaders, chiefs, gaonburahs and public during his maiden visit to his native place Deomali under Tirap district on Tuesday last. Elected from Namsang Assembly Constituency for four consecutive terms, Lowang appealed to the people to maintain unity.

Freak accident: In a freak accident, a young man was seriously injured when a tree uprooted following heavy rains fell on his petty shop in Khonsa in Tirap district on Wednesday.
