ITANAGAR, Aug 22 - Arunachal Pradesh on Friday recorded 60 new COVID-19 cases, taking the State�s tally to 3,126.
On the same day, 32 patients were also discharged, increasing the total number of recoveries to 2,125.
Currently, Arunachal Pradesh has 996 active cases and five fatalities, stated a bulletin issued by the State Directorate of Health Services here on Friday evening.
Of the new cases, 14 were detected in Itanagar Capital Complex, 11 in Changlang, 10 in West Kameng and five in East Siang. Four cases each were detected in East Kameng and Namsai, three each in West Siang and Tawang, and two each in Papum Pare, Lower Siang and Pakke Kessang.
Fifty-seven of the new cases were asymptomatic and three symptomatic, the bulletin said.
East Kameng district accounts for 16 discharged cases, West Kameng and Lower Siang four each, Itanagar Capital Complex three, Tirap and Lower Dibang Valley two each, and Upper Siang one, it added.
