Arunachal records third positive case

ITANAGAR, May 28 - Arunachal Pradesh has reported one more COVID-19 positive case, taking the State tally to three. However, the total active cases stand at two as the first patient had already recovered and was released from hospital.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu said in a tweet, �One more positive case (asymptomatic) has been detected yesterday night. Patient is already shifted from quarantine facility to Covid care centre. His condition is normal.�

State Health Secretary P Parthiban said, �A person who had come from Chennai tested positive for COVID-19 last night.� He added that the person, who was in a quarantine facility, has been shifted to the COVID Care Centre after he tested positive.

The State�s first patient, who had links with Delhi�s Nizamuddin Markaz event, had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 2, but had recovered and subsequently been discharged from the hospital.
