Arunachal Guv flags off Goodwill Car Rally

ITANAGAR, Dec 27 - Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig Dr BD Mishra (Retd) today flagged off the Goodwill Car Rally, organised by Sainik School Imphal Alumni Association (SSIAA), from the premises of Itanagar Raj Bhavan.

Interacting with the participants prior to the flag off, the Governor, while showering praise on SSIAA for organising the rally, expressed hope that it will reinforce the spirit of integrity and bonhomie in Northeastern region and act as a cementing force among the people.

The Governor urged upon the participants to act as messengers and catalysts and spread the messages of �unity in diversity� and that �India is one�. He further advised SSIAA to carry forward the slogan of �Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas� to all our countrymen through the rally.

The Governor has been advocating about having a strong alumni association of educational institutions. He hoped that alumni of other educational institutions will also emulate the pattern of SSIAA and take up fraternity oriented missions discharging their obligation to their Alma Mater, society, State and the Nation.

Nine cars with 24 participants took part in the rally. The rally started with the slogan �Bharat Mata Ki Jai� and will culminate at Sainik School, Imphal on December 29.
