ITANAGAR, Oct 16 - Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (retd) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have extended greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Durga Puja and Dussehra.
In his message, the Governor said that Durga Puja and Dussehra signify the triumph of righteousness over evil. The festivals remind all of the power of ethical and moral behaviour and the value systems which are the bedrock of the society.
He expressed the hope that the festivity would inspire all to be honest, accountable and disciplined and reinforce the spirit of virtue in them to fight against all social evils. �May Durga Puja and Dussehra this year usher in happiness and prosperity for all,� the Governor wished.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony during the Durga Puja celebrations.
