ITANAGAR, Feb 16 - Stating that his Government was giving a push to the use of Information Technology in governance, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has informed that all State Government offices will be made paperless by 2021.

He said the aim of having paperless e-offices is to stop manipulation, ensure transparency and provide easy access of services to the people.

Khandu was speaking at a function at the Tawang Deputy Commissioners office on Friday after launching a WiFi hotspot for Tawang and Dirang in the presence of Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju and legislators Tsering Tashi, Phurpa Tsering and Jambey Tashi.

The Chief Minister also lauded the Tawang district administration for effectively carrying out the State Governments outreach programme, Sarkar Aapke Dwar, across the district. He expressed happiness that Tawang has been selected among the five top performing districts in implementing Sarkar Aapke Dwar camps for the gold medal, which is to be presented during the ensuing Statehood Day celebration.
