ITANAGAR, Nov 4 - The Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, on Tuesday approved of the proposal to set up �Early Childhood Care and Education� (ECCE) centres in 300 schools across the State at a total cost of Rs 15 crore.
�We want our children to grow as a good human being. So care is being taken to develop their cognitive skills & learning ability. A cabinet decision was taken today to develop 300 ECCE centres in schools across the State,� Khandu wrote in a social media post.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to reopening of schools from November 16 for Class X and Class XII students in view of the ensuing board examinations.
�In view of the Board exams, Class X and XII to reopen from 16th November by observing specific SOP,� Khandu tweeted. Besides approving of Rs 150 crore for the Jal Jeevan Mission in Arunachal Pradesh, the State Cabinet also passed a resolution for adopting the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramm), Phase II.
