ITANAGAR, June 17 � Itanagar is all set to join the rest of the world in celebrating the International Yoga Day with full enthusiasm on June 21.
Several organisations, which run yoga camps in the State, have come together to jointly host a mega celebration at IG Park here on the day from 7 am onwards, International Day of Yoga Celebrations Committee, Itanagar (IDYCCI) said in a statement here today.
Hundreds of people, including school students, are likely to participate in the event, which is aimed at popularising and propagating yoga as a holistic technique of health and wellness. The participants would perform the sequence of exercises as per the Common Yoga Protocol, it said. � PTI
