ITANAGAR, Aug 28 - The COVID-19 death toll in Arunachal Pradesh has increased to seven as two more patients, including one Army personnel, died of the infection during the last 24 hours.
A 65-year-old woman succumbed to the virus at the dedicated COVID hospital at Chimpu this morning, said a senior Health Department official.
The second casualty is a 44-year-old havildar of the Indian Army�s Unit-18 Kumaon, 190 Mountain Brigade, who expired on Thursday at the 181-Military Hospital (MH), Tenga, in West Kameng district.
Meanwhile, the State has recorded 112 fresh COVID-19 cases with the Itanagar Capital Complex topping the list with 23 cases, followed by Papum Pare (18) and Siang (17).
With the addition of the new cases, the State�s tally of confirmed cases has shot up to 3,745.
