Arunachal CM stresses welfare schemes

ITANAGAR, June 4 -�Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has suggested the BJP Mahila Morcha to spread the good works of the government, adding that the members of the Mahila Morcha in all districts should be made aware of the flagship programmes launched. He also laid emphasis on proper implementation of the welfare schemes.

�They should be made vital participatory members in carrying ahead the welfare schemes of the government to the beneficiaries at the grassroots level,� said the Chief Minister, while interacting with the presidents of District Mahila Morcha of the party who led by the state BJP Mahila Morcha president called on Khandu at his residence here�on Sunday.

The Chief Minister lauded the members of the organisation for being home runners in society having wider and deeper connection with the general mass.

He further urged the members to create awareness among the public about the welfare schemes of the government, particularly the entrepreneurship-based Bunkar Yojana, Swalamban Yojana, skill development, sanitation programme, etc.

The Chief Minister also requested them to play an active role in spreading party ideologies among the masses so as to make the party organization stronger.�

The Mahila Morcha leaders while speaking to the Chief Minister raised issues on lack of basic services in the districts like education, health and sanitation. They also requested that BJP legislators in their respective constituencies should involve Mahila Morcha in all party based programmes and state welfare programmes.
