Arunachal CM reviews disaster preparedness

ITANAGAR, Aug 27 - Concerned over continuous downpour for the last couple of days in the State due to southwest monsoon, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki reviewed the disaster preparedness with the officers of Disaster Management department here at his official bungalow yesterday.

Disaster Management Secretary Kapa Kholie and Director Yeshi Wangmu Ringu were present at the meeting.

Directions were issued to the DCs and the Head of Departments (HoDs) to be extra vigilant and provide immediate relief assistance to the victims. They were also directed to be proactive in the preparedness and response measures so that there is no loss of human lives and minimal damages in case of any eventuality.
