ITANAGAR, July 14 - Arunachal Minister for Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Urban Development, etc., Kamlung Mosang called on State Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Raj Bhavan here recently. They discussed about the welfare of the people of Vijoynagar Administrative Circle in Changlang district, a DIPR press release said.
The remote easternmost part of the State comes under Miao (ST) Assembly constituency, represented by Mosang. The Minister briefed the Governor about the challenges and problems of the people of Vijoynagar area.
While expressing his concerns about the wellbeing of the people of remote Vijoynagar area, the Governor advised the Minister to ensure that basic commodity such as ration items are made available to them. He emphasised on the Minister that the key to the solution of the problems of the people living in remote areas is to provide them with road connectivity.
