Arunachal BJP serves show cause notices on 2 MLAs

ITANAGAR, Jan 20 - The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Arunachal Pradesh has on Friday served show cause notices to its MLA Pani Taram and Independent MLA Paknga Bage, who is an associate member of the party, for their alleged anti-party activities and indiscipline.

BJP State Disciplinary Action Committee chairman Tapen Siga has served the notices to Taram and Bage.

Pani Taram, who represents Koloriang constituency, was earlier on December 27 dismissed by Chief Minister Pema Khandu as Parliamentary Secretary for Home and Education. Paknga Bage represents Dumporijo constituency. Both the legislators have been asked to furnish their replies within seven days.
