Weather today in Northeast: Thunderstorm and lightning likely to occur over Assam & Meghalaya

Guwahati, March 25: As per the weather bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati moderate rain is very likely to occur at many places over Arunachal Pradesh and light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
The RMC has issued the following warnings:
♦Thunderstorm with lightining is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
♦Apart from that thunderstorm and lightning with gusty wind speed (40-50) kmph is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya.
♦Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh.
As per the local forecast for Guwahati and its neighbourhood, partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder lightning would occur.
