Weather today in Northeast: Thunderstorm and lightning likely over Assam and Meghalaya

Guwahati, April 11: As per the weather bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati moderate rain is very likely to occur at most places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
The RMC has issued the following warning:
1)Thunderstorm and lightning with gusty wind speed (30-40) KMPH is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya.
2) Thunderstorm and lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
3) Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya & heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh.
As per the local forecast for Guwahati and its neighbourhood, generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower.
