Weather today in Northeast: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at most places over NE region

Guwahati, May 8: As per the weather bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Day temperature is very likely to be (2-3)°C above normal during next 48 hours over the region.
The RMC has issued the following warning:
1) Thunderstorm and lightning with gusty wind (30-40) KMPH is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.
2) Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh.
As per the local forecast for Guwahati and its neighbourhood, generally partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers has been predicted.
Maximum and minimum temperatures are most likely to be 33°C and 24°C respectively.
