Weather today in Northeast: Cloudy sky with rain or thundershower likely over NE

Guwahati, April 8: As per the weather bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati moderate rain is very likely to occur at most places over Arunachal Pradesh; at many places over Assam and Meghalaya and light rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
The RMC has issued the following warning:
1) Thunderstorm with lightining is very likely to occur at isolated places over Nagaland and Manipur.
2) Thunderstorm and lightining with gusty wind speed (30-40) KMPH is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya.
3) Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.
As per the local forecast for Guwahati and its neighbourhood, generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower has been predicted by the RMC.
