Weather in Northeast today: Cloudy sky with rain and thundershower likely over NE region

Guwahati, April 1: As per the weather bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati moderate rain is very likely to occur at most places over Arunachal Pradesh; at many places over Assam and Meghalaya and light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram andTripura.
The RMC has issued the following warning:
1) Thunderstorm with lightining is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh.
2) Thunder squall with wind speed reaching upto 40-50 KMPH is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya.
3) Thunderstorm with lightining and gusty winds with wind speed(30-40) KMPH is very likely to occur at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
4) Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya.
As per the local forecast for Guwahati and its neighbourhood, generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower has been predicted by the RMC.
