Guwahati, April 20: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), has recently, released the notification for Central Armed Police Forces (ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS) Exam for the year 2022. Candidates who are looking forward to appearing can register for UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2022 at its website upsc.gov.in

UPSC CAPF AC Exam is scheduled to be held on 7 August 2022 across the country.

The UPSC CAPG Application Link gets closed on 10 May 2022.

Both Male and Female Graduates who are not more than 25 years of age are eligible to apply for UPSC CAPF AC 2022 Recruitment.

Candidate can withdraw their application between 17 May 2022 to 23 May 2022 till 6.00 PM.

The tentative Examination number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is as follows:

(i) BSF 66

(ii) CRPF 29

(iii) CISF 62

(iv) ITBP 14

(iv) SSB 82

Total no. of vacancies: 253

Age Limit :

(a) A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August 2022.

(b) The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable.

(i) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

(ii) upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.

(iii) upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants in accordance with the existing instructions of the Central Government. Ex-Servicemen will also be eligible for this relaxation. However, the total relaxation claimed on account of Government Service will be limited to five years.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

Application Fees:

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card / UPI Payment or by using Internet Banking of any Bank.

How to apply:

Step 1: Visit the official website: https://www.upsconline.nic.in/

Step 2: Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application Form containing two stages viz. Part-I and Part-II.

Step 3: Complete the registration process for both part.

Step 4: Pay the application fees and submit the form.
