Guwahati: University Grants Commission (UGC) NET application form 2022 has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the merged December 2021 and June 2022 cycles.

The NTA has been entrusted by the UGC with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for 'Assistant Professor' and 'Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor' in Indian universities and colleges.

NTA will conduct UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) for 'Junior Research Fellowship' and eligibility for 'Assistant Professor' in 82 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The submission of online application form commenced on April 30, 2022

Important dates

The last date to submit the UGC NET application form is May 20, 2022, up to 5.00 pm.

Last date for submission of Examination fee (through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking /UPI: May 20, 2022 (upto 11:50 P.M)

Correction in the Particulars in Online Application Form: 21 May 2022 to 23 May 2022

Application Fees:

General/ Unreserved: Rs. 1100/- General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs. 550/-

SC/ST/PwD, Third gender: Rs. 275/-

How to apply:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test i.e. https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/

Step 2: Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number.

Step 3: The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and password and fill the application form.

Step 4: Upload scanned photographs, signature

Step 5: Pay UGC NET Application Fee.

Step 6: Download the Confirmation Page
