Art lovers urged to help raise fund for ailing painter

By STAFF REPORTER

GUWAHATI, Oct 2 - Veteran artist Anup Hazarika, who has been suffering from kidney function failure, will be selling his original paintings and their printed versions drawn on basis of solvism.

Senior journalist Manoram Gogoi and artist Ashok Sharma have requested the art-loving people to extend cooperation to help raise a fund to meet the expenditure for a kidney transplantation. Solvism is a new addition to the world of paintings, and the concept behind it relates to the philosophy, science and thoughts as developed in ancient Kamrupa.

Noted artist Noni Borpuzari has also announced to sell 10 of his paintings to raise the fund.
