GANGTOK, April 18 - Lt Gen Devraj Anbu, Vice Chief of Army Staff, is on a three-day visit to forward areas of Sikkim from April 17, a Defence press release said.
On arrival at Sukna, the Vice Chief was briefed by Lt Gen CP Mohanty, GOC of Trishakti Corps on the operational preparedness and prevailing situation on the borders.
Subsequently, the Vice Chief proceeded to East Sikkim to visit key forward posts, where he interacted with the troops and complimented them for their professionalism, commitment and dedication, the release added.
