GUWAHATI, Feb 19 � EME Battalion of the Army saved the life of a driver and rescued the Tata Sumo vehicle he was driving after it lost control and skidded off the road into a 20 metre deep gorge about 40 km from Daporijo in Arunachal Pradesh, a Press release said.
The vehicle was moving from Daporijo towards Ziro when the accident occurred recently. On being informed Havildar Ramlakhan and Naik Borade BM of the Battalion undertook the rescue operation which took about six hours.
