GOALPARA, July 31 � An Army personnel was killed and six others were seriously injured in a IED blast at Bamungopa, just one-and-a-half km from the Naranarayan Setu bridge, Jogighopa under Agia police station today at around 10.25 am.
According to Army sources all the injured have been shifted to the Army base hospital in Guwahati and their conditons have been stated to be stable. A vehicle in the convoy, which was on its way from Kokrajhar to Agia was damaged in the explosion.
