GUWAHATI, May 14 � Debajit Sarma won the champion of champions title in the 39th National Armsports Championship held at Mathura from May 7 to 10. He won the gold medal in the 105kg category.
Assam also clinched the best team title bagging five gold, four silver and three bronze medals, stated a release.
Th medal winners are: Gold- Debajit Sarma, Kalpajyoti Saikia (52kg), Tridip Medhi (70kg), Pranjit Saikia (86kg), Madusmita Das (49kg). Silver-Javed Khan (63kg), Bedabrata Das (95kg), Ikhyku Choudhury (above 105kg), Dilraj Kour (60kg). Bronze-Hardip Sinha (70kg), Masum Zanid (76kg), Pranjal Saikia (95kg).
