TURA, Nov 20 - Two persons from Chokpot were on Friday arrested by South Garo Hills police after the duo were found to be in possession of arms and ammunition.
The police also recovered one local-made rifle, live ammunition, empty cartridges, one air pistol, etc., from their possession.
Investigation is on to find out whether they were linked to GNLA or ASAK militant outfits.
