GUWAHATI, May 13 - Biswa Datta, architect and town planner, was conferred a lifetime achievement award in the field of academics by the Indian Institute of Architects, West Bengal and Assam Chapter in Kolkata recently.
He is the only architect and town planner from Assam to receive the award.
Biswa Datta is currently director (academics), Guwahati College of Architecture, and managing director of Excel Construction Pvt. Ltd, an architectural firm.
