NEW DELHI, June 22 (PTI): Binod Swansi of Steel Plant Sports Board (SPSB) won the gold in the boy�s section, while Assam�s Dipali Boro claimed the yellow metal in the girl�s category of the junior recurve event at the third National Ranking Archery Tournament, here today.
Binod defeated Mukesh Tamang of Services Sports Control Board 6-0 in the boys final.
While Mukesh had to content with the silver, Dhaniram Basumatary of Assam claimed the bronze medal beating Jharkhand�s Guru Charan 6-2 in the third-fourth place play-off match.
In the girls event, Dipali beat Davinder Kaur of Chandigarh 6-0 to claim the gold.
Another Assam girl, Himani Boro won the bronze medal, defeating Lavanya Namula of SPSB 6-0.
