ARC, Oil FC win matches

GUWAHATI, Sept 21 - Assam Regimental Centre (ARC), Shillong and Oil India Football Club, Duliajan won their respective matches on the second day of the 66th Bharat Ratna Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Trophy Football Tournament.

At the Nehru Stadium here ARC edged past Sunrise Athletic Club by the barest of margin while at Sonapur Oil India FC got the better of city outfit FC Green Valley 2-1.

Local MLA Atul Bora inaugurated the Sonapur chapter of the championship.

In the Nehru Stadium match Th Jallen netted the match winner in the injury time (90+2). For Oil India FC Mintu Boro and Siranjit Moran scored one goal each.
