Arabinda bail plea verdict on Dec 20

GUWAHATI, Dec 16 � The judgment on the bail petition of ULFA�s self-styled chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa in connection with six TADA cases would be pronounced on December 20 by the TADA Court, Guwahati.

This comes after public prosecutor representing the State Government today filed the no-objection petition against the release of the ULFA leader on bail.

Rajkhowa was represented by advocate Bijon Mahajan and advocate Arshad Choudhury.

ULFA�s �finanace secretary� Sasha Choudhury was also produced before the court.

Meanwhile, UNLF self-styled chairman Rajkumar Meghen has been remanded to judicial custody by the Special NIA Court, Guwahati, today after the expiry of 13 days NIA custody.

The NIA, which reportedly arrested the UNLF chairman from Bihar, did not seek any extension of the custody, sources stated.
