APSC scam culprits still eluding probe agencies: Ramen Deka

By SPL CORRESPONDENT

NEW DELHI, Sept 14 - Former Lok Sabha MP and senior BJP leader Ramen Deka on Saturday alleged that many influential culprits involved in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) scam continue to elude the probe agency.

Deka told newsmen here this evening that he held a discussion with BJP MP Subramanium Swamy today and took some legal tips from him. Swamy gave me some important legal advice in this regard, he disclosed.

Deka alleged that five members of a particular family involved in the APSC scam still continue to elude the police investigators.

If required I will knock on the doors of the court, asserted Deka, who appeared unhappy with the pace and manner of the on-going investigation. Deka also hinted that he is going to unmask a senior BJP leader belonging to Mangaldai who is involved in massive corruption.

Deka, once the BJP State president, has been selectively targeting the BJP government in Assam levelling allegations of corruption and syndicate raj. He has also threatened to write to the Union home ministry informing it about these scams.
