GUWAHATI, April 26 � The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) today declared the results of the Combined Competitive (CC) Examination 2009, stated a press release issued by APSC.
For the CC Examination, a total of 30,347 candidates had applied for 280 posts, out of which 13,747 appeared for the screening test. Based on the results of the screening test, 3,220 candidates were called for the written examination held between May 27 and June 24, 2012. Subsequently, 582 candidates were called for viva-voce held between January 18, 2013 and February 14, 2013.
The results indicate that as in the past, women continued to perform better. This year, 106 women (38%) were selected for various posts. Similarly, candidates from reserved categories, particularly from OBC/MOBC have done exceedingly well. This year 8 physically challenged persons have been selected for various posts as per reservation policy of the State.
