GUWAHATI, Sept 10 - The APRO Grassroots Football Coaching Centre (APRO GFCC) completed six years today.
The organisation celebrated its foundation day with a brief function at its centre based at the APRO Training School, Jalukbari here. APRO DSP Sanjay Changkakati was present as guest on the occasion with other officials.
The centre has produced State level footballers like Amarjyoti Nath, Hemanta Deka, Ritumoni Das, Migam Kul, K Lakshmi Narayan Rao, Dhanjit Rajbongshi, Dibakar Medhi, Bishal Boro, Subhagya Ranjan Nayak, Pintu Kalita, Saurabhjyoti Nath, Hemanta Deka who played for various State teams.
Former State player Lochan Saikia is the chief coach of the centre. APRO Superintendent Simanta Talukdar has been instrumental in setting up the organisation.
