GUWAHATI, June 6 - Candidates intending to get their evaluated answer scripts rechecked will have to apply through the SEBA portal http://sebaonline.org before June 22. The online portal will be activated on Monday, the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) stated.
Candidates can apply through the portal along with a fee of Rs 350 per subject sought for a recheck. Candidates who want photocopies of rechecked answer scripts will have to pay Rs 550 per subject.
A candidate can apply for all the subjects he or she appeared in, but will get only one chance for making online application for re-checking or photocopy with re-checking.
However, the re-checking process does not mean re-evaluation of the answer scripts.
The results of re-check will be conveyed to the applicant through a notification within 30 days from the last date of receipt of application.
Moreover, no application will be accepted without fee and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
It needs mention that all records except the manuscript or tabulation shall be preserved up to four months only from the date of announcement of the results, after which all records would be disposed of.
Meanwhile, the candidates whose results have been withheld for other reasons shall be required to appear before the Clearance Committee of Examination, SEBA within seven days from the date of declaration of the results, SEBA added.
