GUWAHATI, April 2 - The Assam Sports Journalists Association (ASJA) has appealed the State government to provide some personal prevention kits like masks, hand sanitisers, gloves, etc., to the journalists working all over the State in order to ensure safety of the scribes and their localities.
The Assam Sports Journalists Welfare Association also called upon the sportspersons, organisers, scribes and others to create awareness among themselves and their surrounding areas to follow the guidelines so that the coronavirus pandemic could be controlled.
Meanwhile, the Assam Olympic Association has donated Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister�s Relief Fund.
