GUWAHATI, Aug 24 - Demand for enacting the Population Control Bill in the next session of the Parliament and its strict implementation has recently gained its momentum across the nation under the banner Janasankhya Samadhan Foundation (JSF) as a part of its nationwide campaign, stated a press release.

A �Jan Jagaran� campaign was launched in Guwahati on August 10 last with an appeal to adopt two-child policy and effective implementation of the Bill.

In a JSF press statement issued on Monday, its national secretary general Krishna Murari, and others appealed to the people of Assam to respond to the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for suggestions before his next �Mann Ki Baat� programme through All India Radio scheduled on August 30 next. The JSF organisers appealed to the people to dial toll free number 1800-11-7800 to express the demand on the issue on or before August 26.
