MORIGAON, Aug 21 - The Assam Co-Operative Apex Bank�s latest financial status is very sound and it will provide all modern technological facilities to its customers, said Gautom Bora, chairman of the bank at a customers� meet on the premises of bank branch here on Thursday.
Opening an ATM centre at the Morigaon branch, Bora said that the regional bank is all set to open 30 ATM centres at 30 various locations of Assam. He said the Apex Bank had to overcome its saddest period in 2007 when the bank had to fight for its survival from a moribund state. Bora appealed to the people to cooperate with the regional bank for the greater interest of the State and its populace.
Speaking on the occasion, Jon Jonali Baruah, Parliamentary Secretary, Urban Development, appealed to the bank officials to be people-friendly in financial transactions.
Earlier, Trailokya Goswami, Zonal Manager, Assam Co-Operative Apex Bank, Nagaon stated the purpose of the meeting and explained several new schemes of the bank.
