GUWAHATI, July 17 - The Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd (APDCL) has developed a web portal www.rodalee.com for accelerating deployment of grid-connected solar rooftop installations in the State.
The APDCL said in a press release here today that this web portal will facilitate a single-window clearance system for the consumers willing to install rooftop solar power plants in their premises.
The web portal, hosted by the APDCL, will serve as an integrated platform for multiple solar rooftop stakeholders namely, Assam Energy Development Agency (AEDA), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), solar power developers (SPD) and consumers.
It will provide information on matters related to installation of Rooftop Solar PV Systems in the State and will enable interactions among multiple stakeholders.
It will also enable the consumers intending to set up grid-connected rooftop solar power plants in their premises, in submitting their applications to their respective APDCL subdivisional offices and help them avail subsidy either from the APDCL or the AEDA under the MNRF scheme. Besides, it will also help registration of the solar power developers and vendors with the APDCL.
The nodal point of contact for the portal will be the General Manager (NRE), APDCL, the press release said.
