APCC hails UPSC exam toppers from State

GUWAHATI, May 11 - The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today congratulated the eight candidates who have cleared the latest all India level main examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

In a statement, APCC president Anjan Dutta said the success of these eight candidates would encourage the new generation of the State�s people. Their success has made Assam proud, he said.

It is imperative to improve the scenario concerning representation of the State in the Indian Administrative Services for the progress of the State, he said. He also expressed gratitude to all the people, including the parents of these eight candidates, who played positive roles in shaping the mindset of these youths.
