JORHAT, Oct 27 � Assam Police Blues completed the semifinal line up in the ATPA Shield Football Tournament.
In the evenly contested last quarterfinal match at the Jorhat Stadium here today, the Assam Police Blues team edged past their Guwahati counterpart ASEB Sports Club 1-0. After a barren first session Luhit Taye netted the match winner in the 87th minute.
Earlier, Oil India defeated Green Valley Sports Club 2-0 in the third quarterfinal yesterday.
In the first semifinal tomorrow, SAI Guwahati will take on Oil India. In the second semifinal Assam Rifles will play against AP Blues.
