GUWAHATI, Aug 23 � Riding on an injury time goal by Rabijit Jigdung, Assam Police Blues walked away with a win, while ASEB Sports Club recorded their fifth victory in today�s matches of the RG Baruah GSA Super League Football Tournament at the Nehru Stadium here.
The policemen earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Dynamo Club as ASEB earned a facile 3-0 win against SAI Sports Club.
The AP Blues � Dynamo match was a well contested one but no team could break the deadlock till the last minute of the match. But finally Robijit fired home in the injury time with a solo effort. He dribbled the ball for atleast 20 yards and beat Dynamo custodian Sanjib Boro with a sharp grounder.
