GUWAHATI, Dec 5 - Assam Olympic Association (AOA) secretary Lakhya Konwar inaugurated the synthetic court of the Hatigarh Indoor Stadium here yesterday.
The Hatigarh Indoor Stadium was started by the leading citizens of the locality during the late 1990�s and is today counted as one of the leading training centres for the shuttlers of the city. It also organised State level championships on several ocassions.
At present around 300 badminton players and over 200 table tennis players have their regular practice at the stadium.
The centre has also produced a few State level shuttlers as well as table tennis players during the last few years.
