GUWAHATI, Oct 10 � Eminent children litterateur and story-teller Jeeva Raghunath today formally released the tenth Anwesha Book Festival for Children at the Assam Engineering Institute playground, Chandmari here.

The book fair will conclude on October 19.

Noted artiste Atanu Roy was the chief guest of the function which was presided over by Jatin Hazarika, retired bureaucrat.

Raghunath enthralled the young audience with her inimitable performance of story-telling.

An interactive programme with Atanu Roy was another highlight of the day. It was moderated by artist Durlav Bhattacharya. It was followed by a cultural evening featuring Raghunath and Roy.

Tomorrow�s events include story-telling contest among schoolchildren, a Rang Mela, and a cultural function featuring educationist Dr Amarjyoti Choudhury and eye specialist Dr Harsha Bhattacharjee.
